At the Creative Pool Annual Awards 2026 ceremony in central London, our work with Muslim Hands took the Bronze prize in the highly competitive Web category.

A huge cheers to the Muslim Hands team, and to everyone at Browser London who researched, designed, developed and delivered the platform alongside the internal IT team.

In an earlier post we wrote about the process that got three of our projects shortlisted: research first, structure second, UX design and build only once we understand what we’re actually solving. It’s the process that tied together our work for an international charity, a British Overseas Territory and a Formula One venue, and it turns out the judges agreed.

What makes this one extra special is the company we were keeping, we were up against several agencies many times our size, including Huge and AKQA, both household names in this industry. I’ve always had a soft spot for being the underdog in these things. You get to smile a little wider when the hard work pays off, and it makes the win feel that bit more special.

For Muslim Hands, the brief was to rebuild an entire digital giving experience for an international NGO (charity) operating across the 30 countries worldwide. We began with structured user research and remote design-sprint workshops, ran competitive analysis and a Jobs To Be Done framework to surface what donors actually needed, then fed all of that into wireframes, a modular component-based UI and, finally, a ReactJS front-end with a custom embeddable donation module and Zakat calculator. Every decision traced back to a real user need rather than a guess.

That’s the whole point of the approach.

Understand the user and the business need before a single pixel gets designed, and the results tend to look after themselves.

You can see the award-winning work we did for Muslim Hands right here.

As for the night itself, it was great to meet so many new people from across the creative industry, lots of new faces and a couple of familiar ones, for me it’s always nice to catch up with old friends in the industry.

As for the standard of the award winners, the work was of exceptionally high standard, for many house hold names. But what stuck out for me was the sheer volume of AI-assisted work on show, whether in moving image, data-led projects or web applications.

Given the pace everything has moved at over the last 18 months with the introduction of AI, I’m already looking forward to next year’s awards, if only to see just how far these new tools will have taken us in an ever changing creative industry.
