The Work
After winning Emap’s custom through our creative ideas and innovative approach to UBM’s Music Week and Rugby Expo projects we were keen to deliver a great web solution promoting live engagement and bespoke engagement opportunities.
Emap needed a site to promote their B2B events to potential sponsors and delegates as well as celebrating their existing content in an attractive way.
Moving away from their existing splash page, Emap wanted an engaging, design led website that made B2B events look exciting but was still easy to navigate and still communicated the services offered.
We designed the main landing page very much with an image led philosophy; reminiscent of a high profile glossy magazine or ad agency website, the large interactive hero images offer an intuitive user experience and entice visitors to find out more.
The image-centric design continues throughout the site, we implemented an easily navigable graphical interface for the Emap events section. Each event page included hi-res images and an array of rich media alongside web copy to better portray the impact and benefits of Live Media.

Support
Emap wanted a website solution that would be easily managed by their internal team; we provided Emap with our robust content management system (as used by the BBC) to give them a site that they can update in the future.
Results
The new site has been key in generating increased sponsorship value for Emap and keeping them ahead of competitors in an ever-challenging marketplace. As they are well known for their innovation and challenging approach to everything they do, it would seem that Browser and Emap make the perfect partnership.
