Browsing for Talent

The year is quickly closing out, looking back at the clients won, near misses, epic office parties and all that lays between, we can safely say it’s been a great 9 months for Browser thus far. We shan’t dwell too much on the past though, as we’re all keen to look to the future and what Browser’s 5th year will hold.
Expanding the team
Our immediate attention however, is focused on expansion- to achieve our goals for 2013 we’re looking for some exciting digital talent to join the fold here at Browser. We’re on the hunt for another senior developer to help us innovate, push technological boundaries and generally bring digital dexterity to the team.
We’re after a paragon of PHP with JavaScript proficiency, they need SQL and OOP qualities as well. Our ideal candidate has been in the digital game for about 4 years, loves LAMP (stacks), is educated (2:1′s are nice) and has supreme source control.
We want someone who’s familiar with online hosting technologies, Amazon S3 RDS etc. Experience of Agile project management and SCRUM methodologies are big pluses, as are solid HTML and CSS3 skills.
What’s on offer?
Work’s more than a paycheck, at least to us it is. At Browser we like to think we’ve got a pretty good thing going, some great offices filled with even better people, and sharing the space with UVd and Gloople only sweetens the deal.
We’re a social bunch, go-karting and theme park outing abound, Friday beverages are on the agenda and the office parties are memorable to say the least!
